We exist for people who are looking for More+

We believe that by helping people find More+ Love, Truth, Transformation, and Success we will help BRIDGE the gap between every tribe, tongue, people, and nation. (Rev 5:9-10)

About Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is the pre-existent, eternal Son of God. He existed before the creation of time (John 1:1-3, Colossians 1:16, Hebrews 1:2). We also believe that Jesus was truly God (Philippians 2:6, John 10:30, 17:5, Colossians 2:9) and became flesh and dwelt among us (1 John 4:2, 2 John 7, Romans 8:3). We believe that Christ was born of a virgin and led a sinless life until His physical death, burial, and resurrection for the sins of man (Matthew 27:45 -56, 1 Corinthians 15:1-19). We believe that Christ is our high priest and now intercedes on behalf of the Church (Hebrews 5).

About the Holy Spirit

We believe that the Holy Spirit is God as well as the third person of the Trinity (Acts 16:7, 1 Corinthians 6:11, John 14:6). Therefore, we believe that the Holy Spirit was present before and during creation (Genesis 1:26). We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit as a subsequent act after salvation for personal empowerment and a devotional gift (Acts 2:38, 8:14-17, 10:44-48).

About the Trinity (Father, Son, & Holy Spirit)

We believe in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. The three have distinct roles but are only one God. We believe in a Triune Godhead. Though the word "Trinity" does not appear in Scripture, the concept does. In Genesis 1:1 & 26, the word used for God is "Elohim", which is used to express plurality. This term is used throughout the Old Testament. The concept of the Trinity is supported in the New Testament in Matthew 3 and 1 Corinthians 12:4-6.

About the Church

We believe that Jesus is the founder and the head of the Church (Matthew 16:18, Ephesians 1:22, Colossians 1:18) which is the body of believers (Colossians 1:24). We believe that every believer should be a part of a local church. We believe that Christ is coming back for His Church (Ephesians 5:27). We believe that the local church should be involved in evangelism and should impact their immediate communities and communities abroad (Acts 1:8).

About the Bible

We believe that the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, Word of God and cannot be added to or taken away from (2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 3:16, 2 Peter 1:21).

About Salvation

We believe that all men are born sinners (Romans 6:23) and salvation is achieved by faith in Jesus Christ (Romans 10). We believe that one is saved by faith through grace and not according to specific works or by their moral character.

At North Bridge Church, we believe the church is to have a significant impact outside the four walls of its local buildings. Therefore, there's a strong emphasis on training and empowering believers to BE the church to transform their respective communities. Pastor Christopher King was born and raised in Houston, Texas. Growing up in the church, it was clear during many hardships and struggles that God’s hand was on his life.

In 1995, Pastor Chris went on to play basketball at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. It was at Drake University where he began his love for speaking and empowering various audiences, giving his first speech on the topic of diversity to address racial tensions on campus. While at Drake, Pastor Chris facilitated several workshops and participated in research on the various motivation techniques of students and adults. It was this research and training that would later spawn the creation of his Egami™ series of empowerment workshops, books, and curriculum. In 1999, he graduated from Drake University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. It was also during his time at Drake (1997) that he began serving God in various forms of ministry as he began to understand the purpose that God had for his life.

Pastor Chris has since undergone rigorous training in the Kingdom of God, has become a certified Christian Life Coach, has authored books and articles while leading others to a greater understanding of their purpose and true identity in Christ through his gospel radio show on Sunday mornings. Led by the Spirit of God, Pastor Chris planted North Bridge Church in Frisco, TX to establish a real and relevant ministry that would transform lives and the community. During this time, Pastor Chris earned his Masters degree in Practical Theology from Regent University.

Pastor Chris is also a proud husband to his wife, Ebony, and a proud father to his three daughters– Morgan, Kristyn, and Kree. He loves spending time with family, playing sports, and laughing a lot.

Pastor Chris + Ebony King have committed to a life of ministry. Their goal is to help others experience the abundant life through Christ.
